Health Care, just part of the cover

The new Health Care bill. Many people are excited. Many people are dismayed. But why would we be dismayed? Free Health care just like Europe, and Canada, right? Wrong. Our Health Care bill is designed for the Government to take control of the Private Sector's Health Care Insurance- an industry in itself. (In my opinion that is, based not only on videos I have seen but also using common sense and putting the pieces together.)
Why would I have such a harsh take on this system, when it seems that the President is trying everything in his power to help his fellow Americans? Allow me to put the pieces together for you. First, just accepting that this is about getting affordable health insurance to those who need it but cannot afford it, is naive. Remember the Bank bailouts? Why do you think that all the top executives of a certain company took $400,000 of that money and went on a paid vacation? (That would be, paid by YOU, since it was from YOUR tax money....) The answer, is that the need, supposedly, was dire, and congress wimped out and RUSHED the bill through without being careful enough to write in constraints that would require the companies who received any of those funds to use the money for SPECIFIC purposes directly related to the company's debt repayment. In other words, the bill itself was not written well enough so as to make it CLEAR that they were going to be held accountable. So they most likely used large portions of the money for debt, but decided they needed to vacation and party as well.
The Health Care bill was also RUSHED. How many pages are there? Over 1000?? That is A LOT of information to sift through. Who wrote it? Congress, right? You would think so, but not according to my info. Guess who? Back to the point, there are many different areas that this bill covers, and I will list a few. First, of course, to provide affordable health care to those who need it and cannot currently afford regular health care. But there are many other areas covered, including the means by which this entire program is to be funded. Taxing medical devices, from catheters to electric wheelchairs to hearing aids to pacemakers and more. Taxing Health Insurance companies, basically an additional tax on them to help boost this program. Raising the requirements for medical companies to pay higher premiums, again, under the guise to assist the financial aspects of this program. Taking 3% of any American's income, who does not have health insurance, or is unwilling to get it. (That would be ME currently...because for personal reasons I CHOOSE not to have health insurance, is that not my decision??) Requiring hospitals to accept patients that do not have health insurance, and covering their costs out of pocket. Requiring companies to pay higher premiums for their employees' health care packages, again to aid this new program. To provide Illegal aliens free health care because they are going to need to go to the hospital anyway, right? It's not like we are going to deport the poor souls. (These illegals will also receive citizenship, in addition to free health care. The payback? Vote Democrat!)
There are many more things as well, but let's stick with these for now. The things I mentioned above are all a part of the Health Care bill that was passed by the House, (Except for the "vote Democrat" part...moment of weakness on my part) and signed by President Obama recently. How do these things prove the Government is trying to take over the health care industry? THOUSANDS of companies will simply CANCEL their health plans for their employees and pay another fee I didn't mention, instead of providing the health care packages at a greater cost, due to the Government's higher premiums the companies would have to pay. Many of those people will get other packages to insure themselves, but many companies will lose tons of business because of the changeovers, and many more employees will simply not get insurance for whatever reason, dropping out of that business altogether. Many hospitals and medical production facilities will begin mass layoffs to stay in business because of the higher taxes on medical devices and paying higher premiums, some comanies will just go out of business. In a few years, when all these things have hit a low, the Government program will actually kick in and people will then be able to recieve health care packages from the Government program, at incredible prices, compared to the outrageous prices that private companies will be forced to charge due to all the Government's ridiculous taxation and fees the medical field will be required to pay the government. Just to stay in business, they will have to start charging higher prices, but then miraculously, the Government packages will appear, and BAM, people will drop their expensive private health care for the much cheaper, Government option. i.e.: The Public Option. HAH!
So, the Govenment will have (eventually) a monopoly on health care when this program kicks in and obliterates the private sector's health care industry. NOT like the universal health care in Europe and Canada and so many countries today. And those programs, make no mistakes, are definitely flawed, but at least they are free to the people. Ours will cost America. And dearly, since our economy is already in bed with a fever of 105*. Before those in the Government program are able to really collect the tens of billions that will be generated by the new program, the massive unemployment, business closures, and damage to the private sector will kick in, not to mention the massive consequences of this administration's horrendous spending this first year in office, and our economy will CRASH.
I will be SHOCKED if we are not already in a FULL BLOWN DEPRESSION by the year 2020. In fact, I think 2015 is more likely. And when, (not if...) our dollar crashes, it will make the 20's Great Depression look like a tea party. The reason I say this, is that today, more than ever before, every facet of our society is linked to every other facet, and one industry in trouble will have a disasterous chain-reaction on other industries. Unemployment rates will hit record highs, probably above 50%. That would destroy America as we know it. And then what would happen? Those who orchestrated it all, those who wrote and pushed this precious "Health Care Bill" would step to the plate, (again) and offer a sollution after a few years of horror and chaos due to the worst Depression in world history. Their sollution will be a stronger currency, (but not really, because all currency has ZERO value whatsoever) this new currency will be poised to save us, it will be the West's answer to the Euro, the "Amero". And the U.S., Mexico, and Canada are already preparing for this. (According to a few articles I have read.) The American Union as they are calling it, will be one more stepping stone to a one world government, which many powerful and influencial people are working secretly behind the scenes to establish.
Are my sources a bunch of fear-mongering, crazy brained conspiracy theorists who just get a rise off of scaring people and making us paranoid? Of course it is totally possible- I may simply be a dupe. I may be completely ignorant of such things. One of my sources is from a movement called the Zeitgeist movement, and although you may not agree with all their views, there are many very good points they make. Another source with some interesting information is from Alex Jones and InfoWars. You can google either of them, and find some seriously disturbing things being brought to light.
So there you have it. Like I said in the disclaimer of this hub, I have not really proven these things, I have just written down my views, and the whole health care bill, in my opinion, is just a cover, a catalyst for some very bad things to start happening, to increase the already heavy burden on our ailing economy. With people in power eating this country alive, we might not last the night. (Metaphorically speakinnnngg...)
